Truth and Lies About a “Healthy Church”
Churches have ups and downs in population. People come. People go. Some for good reasons; other for bad reasons. SKRBC has had ups and downs in population throughout 41 years. It’s natural to feel depressed because 150 people don’t rush through the doors on Sunday mornings. But, should we be depressed? Is church attendance at worship a real mark of a “healthy church?” This is an honest, frank sermon about some lies Americans so often believe about what makes a “healthy church.” It’s also a reminder of truths to give us the right perspective on “success” for a congregation.
